Liangzhe Chen is a DAC Ph.D. student in the department of computer science. His advisor is Aditya Prakash. His research interests lie in the area of data mining. Especially the area of graph mining, temporal data sequence mining, and their applications in social media, large networks, and epidemiology.
He has worked on the problem of latent health state modeling for twitter users; tweets classification and visualization for disaster control. He is currently interested in some problems related to dynamic graph mining, graph summary, and temporal data sequence mining. He is also broadly interested in other machine learning areas such as subspace clustering, bi-clustering, dynamic topic modeling, time series analysis, reinforcement learning, etc.
